Blue Jean Mile
Our first community walk & run is here, and we are so excited to celebrate with Asics, The Restoration Space, NAMI & TTYM. For Mental Health Awareness Month, we will be celebrating with the Asics Blue Jean Mile.
ASICS athlete Johnny Gregorek set the world record for the Blue Jean Mile, running a 4:06.25. His goal for the event was to raise awareness and funds for the National Alliance on Mental Illness of NYC (NAMI-NYC). In an effort to build an annual event around Gregorek’s efforts, ASICS is leaning into the work he started to elevate the importance of mental health and finding the ultimate balance.
NAMI works to educate, support, advocate, listen, and lead to improve the lives of people with mental illness and their loved ones.
In addition, The Restoration Space will be joining us. They will be donating proceeds from her RunWell assessment to NAMI this year.

We will be walking and running in our blue jeans (jorts, denim patterned items, etc... yes, they count)! Get funky with it!
